The weightless chair, seat pan and backrest is designed to address an area of the body which has almost become a nemesis in the health/fitness and exercise fields. This area often referred to as the core musculature is the site of the central mass of the human body. It is of particular importance because it too is the location of our pelvic, lumbar and abdominal anatomy. The weightless chair seat pan and backrest are so designed to give infinite range of the motion to the structures of this area. It creates a weightless and friction less movement system, which follows clearly delineated pathways. Said device has the capacity to introduce friction as needed and to integrate both linear pathways, such that intellectual collinear and angular movement patterns can be accomplished.
