The method involves controlling the starting clutch electro-hydraulically with which a target engine speed is generated by an electronic control as a function of the respective driving conditions. The former basic function of a transition function between the former desired speed of the driving side and the former speed of the driving side of the clutch is near the quasi constant of the command from the driver. The another basic function of transition function between former speed of the driving side and a desired speed of the driving side of the clutch is appropriate to the power requirement.
