<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which driving torque information required for driving is previously stored in the storage means of a photoreceptive drum integrated type cartridge and is read therefrom and the driving of a drive source is controlled according to the driving torque information. <P>SOLUTION: The photoreceptive drum integrated type cartridge 100 has: a plurality of rotating bodies including a photoreceptor drum 101; a main body driving gear train 930 for transmitting driving force to the plurality of rotating bodies; and a tag memory 140 for storing driving torque T required for driving the plurality of rotating bodies. A main body apparatus 900 has: a driving motor 920 for driving the photoreceptive drum integrated type cartridge 100; and a tag memory reading device 940 for reading the driving torque T from the tag memory 140.
