PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect components by composing a shaft part and a pedestal part of an open/close mechanism of separate components in an opening/closing pedestal of a board case of a game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine comprises the open/close mechanism having the shaft, whose one end is fixed to the rear surface of a game board and the other end is rotatable around the shaft; the board case; a connection pedestal member connected to the open/close mechanism and the board case; a first connection sealing part of the board case; a second connection sealing part of the connection pedestal member; a first engagement part of the open/close mechanism; a second engagement part of the connection pedestal member; and an insertion part formed in the connection pedestal member for inserting the first engagement part to be engaged with the second engagement part. The game machine also has a restraining mechanism for restraining the movement of the first engagement part of the open/close mechanism in the direction of loosening, opposite from the direction of insertion, after the first engagement part is inserted into the insertion part and engaged with the second engagement part in the engagement between the first and second engagement parts.
