PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller pump capable of reducing damage to a tube. SOLUTION: A roller 30 is peripherally furnished with a recess 31 in the surface in the center part in a direction along a shaft. The recess 31 is provided in a substantially concentric circle with respect to the rotation center of the roller itself. During operation, a part of a tube 50 escapes to the recess 31 to alleviate a load on the tube by the roller 30. As a result, the damage to the tube can be prevented from occurring.
