PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorber with outstandingly sufficient sound absorption characteristic hardly peeling off a sheet-like article and having excellent rigidity in the sound absorber in which the sheet-like article is stuck on a fiber structure body having thickness of 1 mm or more, and a vehicular floor sheet using the sound absorber. SOLUTION: In the sound absorber including the sheet-like article, the fiber structure body is a fiber structure body in which a non-elastic crimp short fiber and a thermal adhesive composite short fiber in which a polymer having a melting point lower than that of a polymer constituting the non-elastic crimp short fiber by 40°C or more is arranged on the surface as a thermal fusion component are mixed at a weight ratio, a fixed point where the thermal adhesive composite short fibers are thermally fused in such a state that they are crossed to each other and/or a fixed point where the thermal adhesive composite short fiber and the non-elastic crimp short fiber are thermally fused in such a state that they are crossed to each other are dispersed, and the thermal adhesive composite short fiber and the non-elastic crimp short fiber are arranged in a thickness direction of the fiber structure body.
