PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system capable of individually carrying out operation of one coolant system based upon a command from an outdoor unit belonging to the one coolant system while carrying out normal air conditioning operation based upon a command from a remote controller or an outdoor unit in another coolant system, in regard to an air conditioning system composed of a plurality of coolant systems wherein a master-servant relationship exists between indoor units belonging to the coolant systems. SOLUTION: In the air conditioning system, even if a second indoor unit 7 belonging to a second coolant system A2 is in a "servant" state (namely, a state providing control of air conditioning that is the same as air conditioning of a first indoor unit 2 based upon reception of a signal from a first coolant system A1), if predetermined processing is carried out with respect to a second outdoor unit 6, after the predetermined processing, air conditioning control based upon reception of a signal from the second outdoor unit 6 is carried out during a predetermined period.
