摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a fuel efficiency by causing a driver to feel no incompatibility even if a cooling water temperature of an internal combustion engine is raised higher than before. SOLUTION: This system remains in a situation that a driver is capable of recognizing the performance of the internal combustion engine control in which acceleration slower than usual is achieved or power performance is suppressed below the power performance that can be achieved normally when cruise control by a driver's instructions is performed (yes at S100). When acceleration is operated by the driver under this situation, ignition lag control for the prevention of knocking is performed and slowness temporarily occurs to the accelerations. However, the driver does not feel incompatibility since he recognizes that the internal combustion engine control is performed by his own instructions. Thus, it is possible to cause no incompatibility to the driver even if the temperature of the cooling water is raised higher than before, so that further fuel efficiency can be improved.
