METHOD FOR PRODUCING FOAMED WALLPAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production in order to produce at a low cost a high-quality foamed wallpaper having excellent scratch resistance while effectively preventing yellowing. SOLUTION: The method for producing the foamed wallpaper includes (1) a step 1 for forming a laminate composed of a first non-foamed resin layer, a foaming agent-containing resin layer and a second non-foamed resin layer by melt-extrusion molding, (2) a step 2 for trimming a part of the laminate formed in the step 1 and (3) a step 3 for feeding trimming pieces obtained in the step 2 as the resin composition for forming the foaming agent-containing resin layer to the step 1. (A) The second non-foamed resin layer contains an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin containing 10-15 wt.% of methacrylic acid and (B) the foaming agent-containing resin layer contains azodicarbonamide. (C) The trimming pieces are fed to the step 1 so that the content of the ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin is≤1 wt.% in the foaming agent-containing resin layer in the step 3.
