<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a camera direct print function even in a printer difficult in performance to independently mount the camera direct print function thereto. <P>SOLUTION: In the printer 2-1, a direct print intermediary control part 2-2 receives image data from a digital camera 1-1 and transmits the image data to a host PC 3-1, and a print control part 2-4 receives print data generated based on the own performance information and image data, from the host PC 3-1.
