<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system, capable of selecting an optimum nonvolatile semiconductor memory according to the user from a plurality of nonvolatile semiconductor memories differed in storage capacity, writing characteristic or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The memory system comprises a first nonvolatile semiconductor memory 108, a second nonvolatile semiconductor memory 107 higher in writing speed than the first nonvolatile semiconductor memory 108, a memory selection part 116 selecting, based on an instruction from the outside of a memory card 102, one of the first and second nonvolatile semiconductor memories, and a memory control part 112 performing an access according to a request of a host device 101 to the nonvolatile semiconductor memory selected by the selection part 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
