PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold device for injection-molding an optical recording medium substrate which prevents the accumulation of a monomer gas generated when a resin material is injected into a product cavity in a stamper or the mold device. SOLUTION: The mold device, which has a fixed mold and a movable mold facing the fixed mold and molds the substrate by injecting a resin into the cavity formed by a fixed mold mirror plane and a movable mold mirror plane, is provided with a structure for preventing the wrap around movement of the monomer gas generated during injection onto the back of a stamper on the periphery of a stamper fixing structure.
