PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system and a communication terminal device that can materialize speedy selection of desired information. SOLUTION: A video display device displays a first menu for selecting one of a plurality of kinds of first information. The video display device has a display control means for causing a first display means to display a second menu, corresponding to the selected first information, for selecting one of a plurality of kinds of second information instead of the first menu.
