PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a device, simplify conveying control of a paper, and increase a speed of image forming process. SOLUTION: The image forming device 11 provided with a mechanism for forming an image on both surfaces of the paper comprises a paper feeding means for feeding the paper, an image forming part 13 for forming the image on the paper fed by the paper feeding means, and a reverse paper feeding means 15 for reversing the paper 14 with the image formed on one surface by the image forming part 13, and feeding the paper 14 to the image forming part 13 again. The reverse paper feeding means 15 is provided with a paper winding means 16 with a roller member 22, which can normally and reversely rotate, and temporarily winds up the paper 14 with the image formed on the one surface around the roller member 22 by normally rotating the roller member 22, and furthermore, reverses the paper 14 wound around the roller member 22 by reversely rotating the roller member 22, and feeds the paper to the image forming part 13.
