PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reservation in consideration of a residual amount of a battery in a recording device provided with a reservation function to start and end recording when the reservation is made. SOLUTION: In an onboard equipment 1 operating with power supplied from a battery 12 and provided with an operation unit 21 for inputting the reservation information including the information indicating the recording start and end time and the information designating the recording object, and a display element 20. When the reservation information is inputted to the device by operating the operation unit 21, the residual amount of the battery 21 and the recording form to record the information is displayed on the screen of the display element 20.
