PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a motorcycle capable of more quickly detecting impact in collision. SOLUTION: The motorcycle is provided with a head pipe provided on a front part of a vehicle body frame; a front fork steerably mounted to the head pipe; a front wheel 6 rotatably supported on a distal end of the front fork 4; and a sensor 32 for operating the airbag. By arranging the sensor 32 in an axle 31 of the front wheel 6, the impact in the collision of the motorcycle is transmitted to the sensor 32 in the axle 31 through the front wheel 6 at a short distance.
