摘要 <p>The method involves providing nanowire wave guide arrangements (12), and detecting a beam (18) with optical frequency, where the beam falls on the nanowire waveguide arrangements. The nanowire waveguide arrangements are controlled to produce a phase lag in the beam, if the beam is dispersed by the nanowire waveguide arrangements. The phase lag causes the beam to be diverted when leaving the nanowire waveguide arrangements. The beam leaving the arrangements is controlled as the phase lag is increased or made smaller. A skew angle of the emerged beam is determined by gradients of the phase lag. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a nanowire waveguide arrangement (2) a system for controlling beams with optical frequency.</p>
