Topically acting dermatological humectant comprises hyaluronic acid (0.1-1 wt.%) and panthenol (5-50 wt.%) in the multilamellar layers of hydrogenated liposomes (5-50 wt.%), together with water, solubilizer and cosmetic ingredients. An independent claim is also included for producing a topically acting dermatological humectant by preparing a mixture of hydrogenated liposomes, hyaluronic acid, pathenol and optionally water and additives at 90-110[deg] C and subjecting the mixture to high-pressure homogenization.
