PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that comprises a curing catalyst and an antistatic agent as essential components, satisfies basic properties of a pressure-sensitive adhesive for a surface protective film such as pot life, transparency, conformability, curing time, etc., does not largely change adhesive strength by heat treatment, has low peel strength in high-speed peeling of large area and low peeling electrification voltage and an optical member surface protective film. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical member surface protective film, containing an antistatic agent, is a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition obtained by crosslinking a mixture in a specific ratio of acrylic copolymers containing specific amounts of reactive hydroxy groups with an isocyanate compound in the presence of a crosslinking catalyst.
