HELICENE DERIVATIVE, TRIYNE DERIVATIVE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE HELICENE DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helicene derivative having an extremely stable helical asymmetry, equipped with a large optical anisotropy and expected to be developed in various uses, a method for producing the same and a triyne derivative becoming an intermediate of the same. SOLUTION: This helicene derivative is expressed by formula (I) [wherein, at least one side of X1, Y1and X2, Y2are each present and the X1, X2, Y1, Y2are each independently any of CH2, C=O, O, N, S, P, B and Si; also the N, S, P, B and Si may be connected with any of the CH2, C=O and O; and E1, E2are each independently any of H, an alkyl, an aryl, an allyl, benzyl, an alkenyl, an akynyl, an alkyl ether, an alkyl ester, an alkyl ketone, a heterocyclic ring or the derivative of them].
