The device has a pressure sensor for detecting pressure in a transport container (1). A radio frequency identification (RFID) module (7) is provided for contact-less coupling of electrical energy in the sensor. The RFID module sends a radio signal based on a physical condition of the sensor. The sensor has a probe volume (3) e.g. hollow cavity, that encloses gas with a preset pressure. The volume has a boundary whose part is deformed based on a pressure difference between the volume and the container.
