ROTATION SUPPORT MECHANISM AND PORTABLE TERMINAL

A support mechanism and portable terminal having a support structure in which a rotation body does not wobble in the axial and rotational directions, functioning stably, and high finished. In the support structure, either of a base and the rotation body is attached to a first member and the other is attached to a second member. The rotation support mechanism is adapted such that the first and second members are rotated from a position at which they are superposed over each other into the direction of the plane on which they are superposed and then the second member is stopped at a certain rotational position. Axially urging means is provided at a shaft support section of the base. The axially urging means axially urges the rotation body, supported at the shaft support section, to prevent occurrence of an axial clearance causing the rotation body to wobble.
