FIELD: ceramics, facing materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a glaze composition and can be used for applying articles made of porcelain and faience. Proposed glaze comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 48.5-54.0; Al2O3, 7.0-10.0; Fe2O3, 0.1-0.2; CaO, 7.0-10.0; MgO, 0.2-0.3; Na2O, 0.1-0.2; K2O, 5.5-7.0; B2O3, 9.0-12.0; Cr2O3, 0.9-1.3; SnO2, 4.5-5.2, and ZnO, 7.0-10.0.
