<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire protection attachment surely preventing other fire protection divisions from catching fire through a drain pipe or a conduit of a joint in fire breaking, by attaching the fire protection attachment to the drain pipe or joint penetrating a control area such as floors or walls of a building such as mid-to-high-rise apartment house, even when a resin pipe that is lightweight and easy to be processed is used for a riser connected with the drain pipe or joint. <P>SOLUTION: The fire protection attachment comprises: installation parts 21a, 21b housing a lower end part 14b of a drain pipe 14 or a joint 14 and fixing it in a nonslip manner; and holding parts 24a, 24b formed continuously to lower parts of the installation parts 21a, 21b so as to surround a circumferential surface of an end part of the riser 12 and locking the circumferential surface of an end part of the riser 12 with locking claws 25a, 25b formed at inner surfaces of the holding parts 24a, 24b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
