PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan case and a fan unit for realizing a fan motor mounting structure capable of fixing a fan motor without using a tightening part and reducing the number of functional components. SOLUTION: A box shape having an opening of an approximately same shape with an outer dimension of a predetermined number of fan motors is exhibited by a bottom, side faces 4 standing around its periphery, a front face 5 and a rear face 6. The front face 5 includes a handle, and the rear face 6 has an opening for exposing a connecting face of a connector 3 electrically connected with the fan motor 1. The side face 4 has a latch provided to protrude toward an opposite side face 4 at a position close to a cylindrical part of the fan motor 1 when holding the fan motor 1 and a latch provided to protrude toward the opposite side face 4 at a position between flanges at a position not close to the cylindrical part of the fan motor 1. The bottom is equipped with a vent hole and a bend for keeping a distance from the fan motor 1 at a predetermined or larger value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
