PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device for uniformizing the size (emission area) of a light emitting region between pixels and preventing irregularities in emission between pixels, to provide a manufacturing method of the organic EL device, and to provide electronic equipment having the organic EL device. SOLUTION: In the organic EL device, a hole injection transporting layer 60 and a luminous layer 70 are arranged in this order between a positive electrode 111 and a negative electrode. A first barrier rib 25 made of a silicon-based insulation material for demarcating the positive electrode 111 by covering the periphery of the positive electrode 111 is provided on the positive electrode 111. A second barrier rib 221 made of an organic resin material while an edge section 25b at the side of the positive electrode 111 is exposed is provided on the first barrier rib 25. The hole injection transporting layer 60 made of a material containing a thermal crosslinking material is arranged at a region surrounded by the first barrier rib 25 on the positive electrode 111 without being placed at the edge section 25b of the first barrier rib 25.
