PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle approach path decision unit deciding with high accuracy the approach of a vehicle to a connection road connected to an expressway main lane and branching from the expressway main lane. SOLUTION: In the vehicle approach path decision unit for deciding approach of the vehicle to the connection road connected to the expressway main lane and branching from the expressway main lane, there provided are a means for detecting that the vehicle has been running on a lane of the expressway for predetermined sections or more (step S2), and a means for deciding the approach of the vehicle to the connection road by detecting or estimating the movement of the vehicle to the connection road direction (step S4-S6).
