PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow down retrieval results by enlarging an unnecessary document, and for removing it from a retrieval result in the case of the retrieval of a document. SOLUTION: This document retrieval device is provided with: a processor; a memory for storing a program to be executed by the processor; and an input part for accepting the input of a keyword, and configured to retrieve the document based on the keyword. This document retrieval device is provided with: a document retrieval part for retrieving a document based on the keyword by executing the program; a document extending part for retrieving another unnecessary document candidate group similar to an unnecessary document group designated by a user within a retrieval result acquired by the document retrieval part; a document removing part for removing the unnecessary document group and the unnecessary document candidate group from the retrieval result; and a document display part for displaying the retrieval result and the unnecessary document group and the unnecessary document candidate group.
