PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cosmetic to be applied to the skin by dissolving with water or a face lotion and provide commercial products having various forms by using the sheet cosmetic. SOLUTION: The sheet cosmetic is composed of a water-soluble sheet formed from a composition containing one or more kinds of natural polymers selected from chitosan, fish collagen and sericin and uses the functions such as the improvement of skin smoothness by dissolving the water-soluble sheet with water and applying the water-soluble polymer to the skin. The chitosan is a water-soluble chitosan having a function as a film-forming agent and a molecular weight of as high as≥10,000 and dissolved by an acidic substance or a chitosan oligosaccharide having a molecular weight of from about several hundreds to 2,000, the fish collagen is a hydrolyzed collagen derived from fish scale and hydrolyzed with an acid or an enzyme, and the sericin is obtained by eluting cocoon or crude silk with hot water or a hydrolyzed sericin protein having a molecular weight of about 10,000-20,000 and obtained by partially hydrolyzing the above sericin and extracting and separating the hydrolyzate.
