PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing the game properties and the amusement of the play. SOLUTION: In the game machine, the variable display is controlled in a high-probability state after termination of a jackpot till the variable display is executed a number of times of probability variation, and the base is controlled in a high-base state till the probability variation is executed a number of times of time shortening. The number of times of the low-probability/low-base state larger than the number of times of the high-probability/low-base state or high-probability/high-base state when a jackpot is determined is determined as the number of times of time shortening from 30, 100 and 500 at a high rate.
