The drive (1) has traction cables (11-14) that are led out in a parallel direction from the drive, where the cables (11, 12) are fastened to the drive. The cable (11) is guided through a control mechanism (16) that is formed as a pivotably supported steering wheel (17). The cable (12) implements actuation and release of a trailer coupling, and is guided through another control mechanism (18) that is formed as a Geneva wheel (19). The mechanisms are driven by a common rotating drive unit (28). The steering wheel has a driver to guide the cable (11) during the rotation of the steering wheel. An independent claim is also included for a releasing device for a trailer coupling.
