The clamp has two sections (12, 22), which are extending in parallel to one another in an installed condition, and are connected together by a connecting element in the installed condition. Third section (26) is connected to the sections and partially encloses a cylindrical gas generator. A lug (27) is provided in a transition area between the sections (12, 26), where the lug points in and lies in the installed condition in the direction of a transition area between the sections (22, 26).
