<p>Method for preventing the development of smells and for improving oil removal comprises feeding compressed air to an oil-water mixture lying below a theoretical level (6) in a separating chamber (3) and using in a device (13) having a conveyor tube (19) with a feed opening (20), a compressed air line (25) and an outlet opening (21). The conveyor tube is surrounded by a jacketed tube (14) whose lid lies above the theoretical level so that water is enriched with residual oil components by oxygen within the conveyor tube.</p> |
