<p>The present invention discloses a method for selecting a mobile communication network, comprising monitoring in each of the available networks; a network parameter of concern to a user and a parameter relevant to said network parameter, wherein if said network parameter and/or said relevant parameter are/is changed, a function value of each of the available networks is obtained on the basis of said network parameter and said relevant parameter, and the available network with the maximum function value is selected as a target network. The present invention further discloses an apparatus for selecting a mobile communication network. According to the present invention, the function value of each of the available networks is obtained by using a dynamic network parameter, so as to improve the efficiency of the network selection, and to increase the probability that the network selected by a mobile terminal meets the needs of a user.</p> |
