A method and a system for providing a fixed telephone number are provided to enable a person to receive calls received through plural telephone numbers by using one mobile terminal, thereby more conveniently using a telephone service. A method for providing a fixed telephone number comprises the following steps of: assigning a virtual telephone number group, configured with one or more first telephone numbers, to a member according to a request of the member(ST5); registering an actually-used second telephone number with respect to each first telephone number of the virtual telephone number group assigned to the member according to a request of the member in a telephone number managing device(ST6,ST7); and relaying reception for the virtual first telephone number, applied from a transmitting terminal, to a receiving terminal of the second telephone number by interworking with the telephone number managing device in a telephone network.
