FIELD: powder metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is directed to preparation of porous alloy based on titanium nickelide through the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method and can be applied in medical engineering, e.g. for cryoapplicators and for making implants. Proposed alloy has volume porosity coefficient non-uniformly distributed in radial direction.
