USB PERIPHERAL DEVICE WITH DYNAMIC CHANGE CLASS, USB MICROPROCESSOR, AND OPERATION METHOD OF USB PERIPHERAL DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically change the class of a device according to the difference of an inserted card device by solving a problem of a USB peripheral device belonging only to a mass storage device class.

SOLUTION: The USB peripheral device with a dynamic change class is connected through a USB transfer interface and a processor base system. The USB peripheral device includes a card connector unit and a USB microprocessor. The USB microprocessor determines whether to transfer data to the processor base system by determining whether the card device is inserted in the card connector unit, and whichever card device is inserted, the USB microprocessor outputs one corresponding class code according to the device class of the card device to the processor base system to carry out identification and confirmation.
