<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of arbitrarily setting the exposure sensitivity of an imaging element speedily by a simple operation and calculating a shutter speed (exposure time) and a diaphragm value according to the set exposure sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes the imaging element. The imaging apparatus also includes a control section that performs a photometry operation for an object, thereby calculating a luminance value. The imaging apparatus further includes an exposure mode selection dial 11 capable of selecting an exposure sensitivity priority mode in which imaging undergoes using the exposure sensitivity of the imaging element set by a user, a shutter speed and diaphragm value calculated by the control section based on the luminance value and the exposure sensitivity of the imaging element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
