<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of easily performing a display of high degree of freedom when performing a segment display. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a first polarization plate; a first liquid crystal cell of vertical alignment type which is arranged on the above side of the first polarization plate and has a transparent electrode corresponding to a first display pattern; a second liquid crystal cell of vertical alignment type which is arranged on the above side of the first liquid crystal cell and has a transparent electrode corresponding to a second display pattern; and a second polarization plate arranged on the above side of the second liquid crystal cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
