METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FORGED PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a forged part by which the forged part having high hardness only in a specific region can easily be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the forged part comprises following processes: a forging process for cold-forging a steel blank composed of low carbon steel into a prescribed shape; a carburize-quenching process for carburize-quenching treating a forged intermediate part obtained with the forging process; a tempering process for tempering-treating the carburize-intermediate part obtained with the carburize-quenching process; and an induction-hardening process for partially performing the induction-hardening to the specific portion in the tempered intermediate part obtained with the tempering process, which are performed in this order to manufacture the forged part.
