<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability support by suppressing the deterioration of silver arranged as a wiring conductor or a reflecting wall in a base body of a semiconductor light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device has the semiconductor light-emitting element, the base body provided with a conductive member conductive to the semiconductor light-emitting element, a sealing member for at least partially sealing the semiconductor light-emitting element and the conductive member, and a covering member that at least partially covers the conductive member. The covering member has a first layer including silver, a second layer including a metal different from silver and provided so as to at least partially expose the first layer, and a third layer which covers the first/second layers and includes a translucent member that allows light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element to be transmitted through it from the conductive member side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
