PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating unit which can drive a generator with high load or a plurality of generators without increasing the rating and the number of drive motors. SOLUTION: In the power generating unit generating power by driving a generator with a drive motor, the drive motor and the generator are interlockingly connected via a rotary shaft, which is extended in the vertical direction, and an annular body, which has a specified weight and generates a centrifugal force by the rotation on a horizontal surface, is mounted to a position away from the rotary shaft by only a specified radius. Further, the plurality of drive motors, which are disposed centering around the rotary shaft at constant intervals in the circumferential direction, are interlockingly connected to the rotary shaft. Furthermore, the plurality of generators are interlockingly connected to the rotary shaft via a plurality of speed reducers, which are disposed centering around the rotary shaft at constant intervals in the circumferential direction.
