PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and workability by preventing overturn of vehicles easily and surely in a vehicle tilt angle measuring device. SOLUTION: This device comprises: a measuring base board 3 tiltable in the vehicle width direction, in a state of mounting a vehicle 2; a tilt cylinder 5 (tilting means of the base board) for making the measuring base board 3 tilt; a belt 8 of which one end is jointed with the uplift side of the vehicle 2, when the measuring base board is tilted; a load cell 9 of which one end side is jointed with the other end side of the belt 8 and the other end side is jointed to the measuring base board 3; and a controller performing a prescribed overturn preventing motion, when the value of a load cell 9 exceeds the predetermined maximum traction.
