PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate wasteful energization to a condensation-preventing heater 5 provided in an opening rim 1a of an opening and closing door 4. The refrigerating cycle is automatically controlled on the basis of an internal temperature Ts such that a cooling box 1 interior is at a suitable temperature (12°C) to cool and store brown rice 3 in the cooling box body 1. When an outside air temperature becomes 12°C or lower and the 12°C or lower continues for an hour, energization to the condensation-preventing heater 5 and the refrigerating cycle are stopped.
