PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require extremely low noise and reduction in the installation area per unit output, in a generating set stored in a soundproof package. SOLUTION: A duct is arranged in parallel in an upper position of the soundproof package. An air introducing port communicating with the soundproof package is arranged in a substantially intermediate position of the duct, and a ventilation outlet communicating with an external part is arranged in the upper position substantially opposed to this air introducing port. The air introducing port and the ventilation outlet are separated by a vane, and are formed as an intake side muffling duct and an exhaust side muffling duct. Intake side and exhaust side noise characteristics can also be adjusted by movably constituting the vane in the duct. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
