PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control more finely the lifting and lowering of a maintenance machine or a discharge machine and the rotation of a culture bed, when using an apparatus with rotation disk for solid culturing. SOLUTION: For an apparatus for solid culturing that lifts and lowers maintenance machine by rotating rotary screws 11 and 12, screwed together with support parts 13 and 14 of a lifting and lowering mechanism; a control system is constituted, comprising rotation amount detecting parts 27 and 28 set on the rotary screws 11 and 12, and a lifting and lowering controller 25 performing proportional control of lifting and lowering of a maintenance machine, by associating the rotation amount detected by the rotation amount detecting parts 27 and 28 with the lifting and lowering amount of the support parts 13 and 14, or to the current height to set the rotation amount as a variable, or a control system is constituted, comprising the rotation amount detecting parts 27 and 28 set on each of the rotary screws 11 and 12, screwed together with each support 13 or 14 and a lifting and lowering controller 25 considered as the difference of each rotation amount detected by the rotation amount detecting parts 27 and 28 as the inclination state of the maintenance machine and notifying the inclination conditions to the outside as being abnormal, or stopping the rotation driving source.
