<p>A formulation containing an inhibitor of gastro-intestinal lipase, such as orlistat, is described. The formulations contain a surfactant and/or an oil-absorbent material. The surfactant and oil absorbent material are formulated in a manner that admits of their release when ingested only after a prolonged lag time. The formulations are useful in treating obesity and related co-morbidities.</p> |
