An electric pressure cooker and a steam cover apparatus thereof are provided to prevent high pressure and high temperature steam from being directly sprayed to a user by employing a steam cover. An electric pressure cooker comprises a main body, a lid(200), a locking unit, a steam discharge member, a handle assembly(250), and a steam cover(320). The locking unit is configured to lock an inner pot positioned in the main body. The steam discharge member is configured to the lid to discharge steam remaining in the inner pot. The handle assembly is installed at the lid to operate the locking unit and the steam discharge member. The steam cover is installed at the lid to shield steam discharged through the steam discharge member. The steam cover includes a lower cover(321) and an upper cover(325). The lower cover has a path through which steam liquid flows. The upper cover includes a first steam discharge pipe and a second steam discharge pipe to prevent burn and noise caused by high pressure and high temperature steam. |
