A DISASTER RECOVERY METHOD FOR IMPOSING THE USER REGISTRATION BASED ON THE MODIFICATION OF THE USER'S PERIODIC REGISTRATION TIME

A disaster recovery method for imposing the user registration based on the modification of the user's periodic registration time is disclosed, which is used in the CDMA communication system, and is invented for solving problem in the prior art that the user information in the current base station could be registered onto the backup MSCe timely after the disaster recovery of the primary MSCe. After taking over the disaster recovered primary MSCe, in accordance with the current system load, the inventive backup MSCe determines to modify the time interval of the user's periodic registration based on the cells or the codes of the location areas; the base station receives a trigger message from the backup MSCe, and modifies the current time interval of the user's periodic registration according to the indication of the trigger message; the user in the base station originates a periodic location update randomly in one period of the modified time interval of the user's periodic registration, and sends the location update registration message to the backup MSCe via the base station. The operation of the inventive method is simple, and could update all of the user information in short time.
