<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the information recording and reproducing accuracy when the optical disk tilts. <P>SOLUTION: The drive controller calculates the skew indicating the tilt angle α of the optical disk 100 based on the focusing error signals and controls the location of the objective lens by using the product of the skew and a coefficient.
